Eel

Group LT as sole distributor that sub-contractor harvests wild eels from the natural lakes and rivers of south eastern Australia. We produce Long fin (Anguilla Reinhardtii) and Short fin (Anguilla Australis) eels from the clean waters of Western District of Victoria & Tasmania district.

Our harvesting strategies are consistent with the requirements of the Australian Commonwealth Environmental Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act (1999) and the Victorian Eel Fishery Management Plan, ensuring the long term sustainability of our eel stocks and the environment.

Group LT solely supplied eels’ processing facility is registered for export of live eels with the Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service, adhering to stringent Quality Control and HACCP procedures. Our eels are free of contaminants, expertly graded and packed under hygienic conditions. We supply export markets throughout the world especially South Korea, China and Japan.

Our Short & Long Fin Eel are caught in the wild waterways of Southern part and transported to our export facility. Here the fish are purged and graded prior to packing and export.
